To provide school children with better education environment and more choices to parents, Hsinchu City Government planned to spend NT$ 2.8 billion on the “New Campus Campaign” by building two new schools: Hsinchu Warldorf Experimental School, the first of its kind in Taiwan and the only one in Hsinchu City, and Guanpu Elementary School in response to the drastically increasing population in Guanpu’s land readjustment area.
